D.O. Cava

Cava is the only wine designation not linked to a single and specific territory but still 98% of this historical sparkling wine made under the méthode traditionnelle is produced in the region of Penedés. Traditionally Parellada, Xarel·lo, and Macabeu are the three grape varieties – all white - used for cava. Cava's popularity in the international wine market continues to grow, with exports playing a crucial role in its success.
