The red-and-white fiesta for the adventurous and authentic experiences seekers
The San Fermín Festival is one of a kind event that takes place in Pamplona every July. An army of locals dressed in white with red neckerchiefs will welcome you to one of the wildest festivals on earth: the running of the bulls through the narrow streets of the old town. Watching this show (or actually running in front of the bulls!) is on every traveler’s bucket list, that’s why the city is packed with people from around the world, creating a vibrant atmosphere that lasts for days.
Available from the 6th of July to the 14th of July every year

Get a preview of the warming up area at the back of Santo Domingo and then have some churros as a second breakfast. Go to the bullpens to learn more about the bulls running the encierros. Spend the day on your own or lunch at a txoko. The daily fireworks show is at 11 pm.
DAY 3 | PAMPLONA, STAY OR EXTEND YOUR TRIP
You can decide to stay in the city and attend some bull fighting from VIP seats and keep enjoying the festival atmosphere or decide to leave and extend your journey to the Basque Country.
Let Paladar y Tomar host you in a unique lifetime experience and don’t miss the essence.
Away from the buzz of the running of the bulls, the city of Pamplona is waiting to be discovered. With a rich architectural legacy, including a beautiful cathedral and 16th-century fortifications, Pamplona will delight you with its medieval flair. Wander around the city center soaking in all its charm, explore the green areas of the city and enjoy the Spanish lifestyle eating pinchos in the heart of Navarra, just like Hemingway used to do.
Expand your horizons and visit the Basque Country at least once. You’ll leave with a spirit of fun and celebration that lasts a lifetime.
Food serves as a cultural catalyst of sorts that ties Basque Country to its neighboring regions, providing a social nexus where the multiculturalism inherent to travelers is welcomed. The Basque people are a sharing people, providing guests with not only the comfort of hearty rustic food but the benevolent spirit of company.
