Barcelona & Tarragona Gourmet Week

Tarragona will welcome you with a fascinating mix of Mediterranean beach life, Roman history and medieval alleyways. The Roman ruins of Tarraco have been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Natural Park of the Ebro Delta constitutes one of the largest humid areas of the Mediterranean Europe and has been declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO on the 28th of May 2013. It is one of the most important rice production areas of the whole Peninsula and it is well known for its excellent salty-sweet delicious oysters whose main market is France. Less than one hour drive, the Priorat wine region hosts some of the most internationally acclaimed wines in a stunning scenery. This Barcelona & Tarragona Gourmet Week gathers 39 Michelin stars (Barcelona-35, Tarragona-4) to unwind and escape.
