ARGAN VALLEY
After a restorative breakfast, start your 5-stop exclusive expedition. Enjoy a 2,5 hour-drive before you reach the first house which reveals a unique perspective on the argan tree valley. Located at Azrarag and perched on a hillside, it is a white stone house on two levels with terraces, including a living room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms with showers. Heating, air-conditioning, a fireplace.. all you can dream of!

Day 3
TIGHMERT'S PALM GROVE
Nestled in the middle of a lush palm grove outside of the desert village of Tighremet you will make your second stop, where traditional Berber ways of life still remain relatively untouched by tourism. The property is composed of two adobe houses decorated with traditional woodwork, each one with its private living room, an outdoor seating area under a tent and a fully equipped bathroom. It’s all infused with an exquisite rustic-chic flair.
Why not visiting the Berber village of Amtoudi, home to around 300 families, one of its most fascinating aspects, which sets it apart from other oasis settlements, is the ancient grain storage facility, or agadir, perched high up on a hill overlooking the village. It is considered to be both the oldest and most well preserved agadir in North Africa. The access can be hiking along the narrow rocky trail, or you can make the ascent on the back of a mule.

AOUJOU
It is time to wander the winding footpaths of the Akka palm grove before reaching the third home. Near a matriarchal village, this house offers a stopover in a timeless place with a 180° view on the surrounding mountains. Made of the traditional red dry stonewall, the house sits in a women’s village near an ancient hot water spring in Aoujou. It offers a lounge, three bedrooms and three bathrooms with shower, heating, air-conditioning, fireplace, all with a colonial air. But with no doubt, the hotel best feature is the impressive panoramic views over the Aoujou Valley in all directions.

SAHARA DESERT
From the Red House to the collective attic of Ait Kin for a picnic, a building formerly used for stocking. Then, time to head to Foum Zguid, the gate to the desert, relax before you embark on your transfer through the sand dunes to your nomadic desert camp (37 miles on track. At the edge of the dry lake of Iriki, this exclusive camp offers an absolute peace. Welcome to the Sahara! Enjoy a camel ride and admire the most beautiful sunset before enjoying a unique night under the stars.

Day 6
DAR AHLAM
The route culminates in Skoura palm grove, at Dar Ahlam, known as the House of Dreams. Stay in a traditional kasbah surrounded by a garden of Eden with a swimming-pool, at the gateway of the southern Morocco desert. Activities will be
organized according to your wishes: relaxing time under the palm trees of the garden, mule ride in the Valley of Roses, aperitif at the sunset... all is possible at Dar Ahlam! Simplicity and sophistication, there are no schedules. The professional and discrete team works all day to make your stay literally extraordinary; you won’t eat twice at the same place, every surprise will be unveiled at the last minute.

SKOURA
You might want to do nothing, or you might want to keep feeding your curiosity. We’ll assist you in planning your day, an option being a light hiking across the Skoura palm grove, situated along the Route of 1000 Kasbahs led by our knowledgeable local guide to learn all about the local agriculture and crafts, and the future of the region. After the active stroll, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch of traditional Moroccan produce in a magic spot.
At the end of the day we suggest you take a traditional hammam for your complete relax.

Day 8
AIT BEN HADDOU
On your way from Skoura to Marrakech you’ll make a stop at Ait Ben Haddou, located on the lower slopes of the soaring Atlas Mountains. A fortified village made from traditional mud brick, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most famous ksars in the region, and one of the best examples of typical southern Moroccan architecture. This giant sand castle-like structure was built around the 17th century, and today there are still several families who live there. Depending on the time available, we’ll walk up through the village, marvelling at the defense towers, gateways and motifs carved into the clay bricks. Time for lunch in the area, and time to continue our road through Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass before reaching Marrakech.
