Day 1
BARCELONA, ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, your driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Time to relax after your flight to recover from the jet lag.
WINE & TAPAS TOUR
In the evening nothing better than an exclusive wine and tapas tour with one of our local sommeliers to get an authentic picture of Barcelona visiting the must and the lesser known areas. Barcelona is a tempting destination for wine enthusiasts. Keeping the art of wine appreciation alive, bars have opened around Barcelona the focus on wine tasting itself, offering lists that span the width and breadth of Spain. This private Wine Bars tour in Barcelona will uncover a different side of Barcelona by immersing you in those cozy establishments only-for-locals while strolling through the city. Let your smiling sommelier lead the way through less-than-famous but wonderfully-unique Catalan wine regions, guiding you eagerly with knowing hands.
Be back at your cozy room with a good taste in your mouth and ready for a recovery sleep.
Day 2
GAUDÍ IN DEPTH
After breakfast, our well-experienced and internationally reputed Barcelona art curator will meet you at the lobby to take you on a unique Modernism and Gaudí private-guided tour. Discover the most glamorous avenue in Barcelona: the Passeig de Gracia with its impressive Art Nouveau iconic buildings such as La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, both World Heritage Site for its artistic value and uniqueness. Strolling along the avenue you will also stop at other modernist buildings of high interest and value. Admire the facades, the most important part of those buildings, as you learn the architectural characteristics and the fascinating symbology of each front through interesting and entertaining explanations.
Then, visit the most well-known Barcelona’s monument: Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s masterpiece. Get fascinate by its beauty and history.
Right after take the unique opportunity to visit the workshop of a renowned Spanish sculptor who is currently working on the tetramorphs that will crown the towers of the evangelists of the Sagrada Familia. This is an opportunity to meet the artist that is working on the last sculptures for the temple. His studio is located in a beautiful creative space full of artist studios, designers, and architects: Palo Alto. A place of great interest that shows the creativity beat of Barcelona.
Finally, enjoy a light lunch with some tapas and wines to discuss about the discoveries of this memorable morning.

Day 3
ORGANIC WINES FROM PENEDÉS
After breakfast your guide will pick you up to drive you one-hour southern Barcelona to the Penedés wine region. Take this opportunity to visit a lovely estate, and get ready for a 4x4 tour in the woods across the vineyards of a family-run winery making organic and sustainable wines. Back to the winery, time to enjoy the wine tasting in the cellar.
SITGES, LUNCH BY THE SEA
Once it’s over, you’ll be taken to Sitges for a seafood lunch. Locals, artists, bohemians and a committed international gay community have turn Sitges into what it is today, a cosmopolitan and elegant destination full of boutiques, art galleries and first-class restaurants. Throughout the year there are art and music exhibitions or culinary festivals going on, being harvest time very special, a cultural event in the city of Malvasía, the most characteristic type of grape in the region. With a strong presence of Art Nouveau buildings, strolling around after lunch might be a great way to discover Sitges's reputation as a place where European intellectuals settled at the end of the 19th century when Picasso and his peers discovered the virtues of this town. And his legacy remains.
Finally, be driven to your rustic and chic home for the next couple of nights in the heart of Priorat. Free evening.
Day 4
PRIORAT WINES
A full day devoted to discover the internationally famous wines from Priorat. Your guide-driver will say hello after breakfast and take you on an exciting day of wine discoveries. You won’t miss a visit to the Cartoixa de Scala Dei. According to the legend, the name of the Charterhouse of Escaladei is due to a shepherd who saw in his dreams how angels ascended to heaven through a staircase between some pine trees. The monks of that time considered it a divine sign and built the monastery there. Scala Dei in Latin means "Stairway to God".
Then two wineries visits will follow. The Priorat smells of grapes and fields and has been spreading that aroma for centuries. The tradition of wine in this region dates back more than a thousand years, when the Carthusian monks started making their own wine. Since then, Priorat wines have always been occupying very prominent positions on the national and international scene.
Finally, you’ll be taken to your hotel to immerse yourself in the silence and disconnect between the most spectacular landscapes of the Montsant Natural Park.
Day 5
SEDUCING SPARKLING WINES
After a restoring breakfast you will start your route towards Empordà, but you won’t miss the opportunity to visit one of the most prestigious cava producers in the wine region of Penedés. They quitted the Cava designation and they are one of the founding member of Corpinhat whose purpose is to establish “the brand with the aim of distinguishing great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès from 100% organic grapes harvested by hand and entirely vinified on the premises of the winery”. After an amazing tour and wine tasting, enjoy a rustic cheerful lunch.
Finally, continue your way to your next dream “home” in Empordà.
Day 6
DALI MUSEUM
After a peaceful sleep and energizing natural breakfast, get ready to head to the Dali Museum-Theatre in the town of Figueres. Your private native guide will help you to decipher the surrealism that permeates the entire building, outdoor and indoor, and will unveil surprising data about one of the most admired artists.
EMPORDÀ WINES & STARRED LUNCH
After the tour, be ready for another unique experience. This time immerse in one of the most beautiful wineries in Empordà and let you go in time through great wines and a spectacular history. The ice on the cake will be a gourmet lunch at Castell de Peralada Restaurant, a lovely Michelin starred establishment.
Back to the hotel after lunch, free afternoon to unwind at the spa and relax.
Day 7
CADAQUES
No rush, you will spend the day in one of the most beautiful towns in Costa Brava, Cadaqués. Enjoy a private guided tour of The Pearl of the Costa Brava, that has remained practically untouched probably because the difficulty to get here. After leaving the Bay of Roses behind, a single curvy road starts pointing towards the right direction. There is no other road to access to reach Cadaqués. Most call it the road of happiness. Cadaqués is known worldwide thanks to the genius of surrealism, Salvador Dalí. Born in Figueres in 1904, he fell in love with this town, where he spent the summer with his parents and, finally, he settled in Port Lligat, a small neighboring town where he built his home. Let the best lical guide you could ever met take you on a fascinating journey.

Day 8
MEDIEVAL CHARMING TOWNS
Today, charming visit to two of the most beautiful Medieval towns: Pals and Peratallada. First, stop at Pals, literally rising up, it is a delicious medieval site that exhibits the church of San Pedro, one of the most charming parishes. Walk across the winding streets up to the Torre de las Horas (the Hour’s Tower), a Romanesque structure built between the 11th-13th centuries, or the Josep Pla viewpoint; once there it is easy for the imagination to fly contemplating the erotic fields of Ampurdán, the beach of Pals and, beyond, the Medes Islands, a tiny archipelago declared a marine natural jewel in 2010.
RICE FIELDS
Pals is also famous for its rice, in fact rice growing in Pals dates back to the 15th century. Hundreds of hectares of newly planted rice fields, in the Montgrí Natural Park, surround it in the midst of an extraordinary tranquility.
So at lunchtime, expect to sample a spectacular rice.
WINES FROM EMPORDÀ
After lunch you’ll head to a lovely winery estate where tradition and modernity are mixed with style. Enjoy a private visit followed by a wine tasting. An amazing architectural project combined with a farm estate and premium wines makes it the perfect day end.
On the way back to the hotel, a not-to-be-missed stop at Peratallada. It’s one of the most important and best-preserved centers of medieval architecture in Catalonia, it’s like traveling to the Middle Ages. The population grew around its castle, from the 10th century. It treasures monuments of interest such as the church of Sant Esteve de Peratallada (early 13th century), the Torre del Homenaje or the Peratallada Palace. (14th century).
