MADRID, ARRIVAL
Upon arrival to Malaga Airport, be transferred to El Carligto and relax. A hearty welcome dinner will be set, the perfect excuse to get comfortable in your new Spanish home

COOKING CLASS
Fresh poolside breakfast in summer days, followed by a late-morning cooking class to prepare a “Paella and/or Fideuà” with Chef Residente.
Before lunch, enjoy locally-sourced aperitifs with the chef. Free afternoon to unwind by the pool, multiple terraces or by the fire.
TAPAS STYLE DINNER
Tonight, a light dinner of tapas accompanied by a selection of Spanish wines will be served. Learn about the range of depth and intensity of “Spanish Reds” and the astonishing diversity of the unknown secrets of the whites.

Day 3
MALAGA
Today you will visit the coastal and famous city of Malaga. Your private driver will pick you and drive you to the meeting point to meet your local guide, a real native expert. This is fascinating day excursion that combines history, culture and flavors in one of the Mediterranean most dazzling cities. Go up to the viewpoint of Gibralfaro and you will see a little of the fishermen's quarter of the city. On your way down stop at the Alcazaba (old fortress) and then finally reach downtown. Stroll around the lively streets, admire the Cathedral, the exterior of Picasso's Birthplace, the Plaza de la Merced, the Roman Theatre, and the well-known Calle Larios. Interested in visiting Picasso’s museum? Your tour guide will unveil details you didn’t know.
It is finally vermouth time, stopping for some local wines in a singular old tavern is probably the greatest way to wet you appetite. Time for lunch, tapas style of course, at one of our favorite restaurants in Malaga.
After lunch, you can spend some time on your own, and then meet your driver to return to El Carligto, a great space to unwind before a delectable healthy dinner.

Day 4
CORDOBA
After an early restorative breakfast, get ready for your private transfer to Córdoba. Discover the essence of Córdoba in a guided tour through beautiful houses with blossoming patios in the historic city centre.
Cordoba unveils a Islamic architecture master piece; the Mezquita. Then, stroll around its Jewish quarter and the synagogue. Cordoba is probably Andalucia's most beguiling and authentic city. Tiny plazas, baroque churches, perfumed gardens and patios brimming with flowers, shady whitewashed alleyways and graceful orange trees all add to its charms. It’s not by chance Cordoba downtown is listed UNESCO Heritage City.
At lunchtime, our suggestion is experiencing the Arab heritage cuisine in the two Michelin starred restaurant Noor from chef Paco Morales, where you are transported to the ancient Arab times (if restaurant is in its open season).
After lunch, transfer back to El Carligto, where the evening will be enjoyed with a light dinner (al-fresco dinner if weather allows).

Day 5
COOKING WORKSHOP
Enjoy a tranquil morning at El Carligto followed by an in-depth “Fish & Seafood” live cooking along with lunch paired with a lovely selection of wines. Free afternoon at your own pace.
ROASTED BABY GOAT
But there is a local specialty you cannot miss: the chivo, roast kid or baby goat cooked in a wood-fired oven and served whole. The flavor and texture are spectacular, so tonight we’ll bring it to you. Make your taste buds dance.

Day 6
GRANADA
Early breakfast at the Cortijo followed by a private transfer to Granada. Enjoy a private guided tour of the world famous Alhambra Palace and the Albaycin neighborhood, both UNESCO Heritage Sites. Two competing hills, separated by the Darro River, with a common past: the glorious heritage of Al-Andalus in Granada. Learn the secrets and symbols contained in the Alhambra’s lush gardens and magical palaces worthy of the Arabian Nights, and continue on to the Albayzin, for a step back in time in the oldest quarter of Granada.
Placid lunch at one of the nicest restaurants with views over the Alhambra. After lunch, transfer back to El Carligto, an effervescent and healthy light dinner will be served.

Day 7
FRIGILIANA
Situated in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range, Frigiliana is an extremely pretty village which has received several awards for conservation and for its beauty. It’s an important hub of artists.
WINES FROM AXARQUIA
Are you ready to discover the thrilling wines from DO Sierras de Malaga y the steep mountains of the Axarquia? Enjoy a private visit to an exceptional winery and discover the heroic viticulture of the region and finally taste stunning wines. Time for lunch, a hearty home-cooked meal will be served.
Back to El Carligto in time for the farewell dinner.

THE PROPERTY:
Complete with spacious reception rooms, double bedrooms and fireplaces, it is divided into two houses and each property houses private indoor and outdoor lounges, kitchens, terraces and expansive gardens. A courtyard and infinity pool lend an air of luxurious relaxation to the properties, with an interior floor space of over 300 m2.
THE CORTIJO:
El Carligto houses two en-suite rooms and two more rooms share a bathroom, while The Hunting Lodge, in a more modern style, enjoys three en-suite rooms. A party of up to twelve can revel in the entire hilltop estate between the two houses, separated by mature gardens and more than 100 m of distance.
