Vinoble Jerez

Vinoble is The International Noble Wines Exhibition being the only wine show dedicated exclusively to fortified, dessert, and natural sweet wines. It is for many the greatest wine appointment. Noble wines nearly always tell the story of long voyages, epic expeditions and heroic events and Jerez de la Frontera in southwestern Andalusia is the place to be.

The first edition was held in 1998 and it was created to become the center of meeting and showcase these specially made, unique and appreciated wines. The wine event attracts in every edition a vast number of buyers, tourists, Masters of Wine and specialized journalists who come to take coverage of the event, making Vinoble an incredible place for tasting, fun and trade. Vinoble 2022 will be the 11th edition of the fair but dates have not yet been fixed to the COVID-19 pandemic. It normally takes place around May, during this time, the jacaranda trees are in full bloom and the weather in Jerez is pleasant and lovely, making it the most perfect time.

The venue, a moorish fortress

Asides the wine, something else which makes Vinoble spectacular and a bit different from other events in Spain is the venue. It is one of the widely celebrated events which takes place in the “Alcazar”, an ancient 11th century Moorish fortress in the center of the beautiful city of Jerez de la Frontera. Unlike other trade fairs which take place in large exhibition halls, Jerez Alcazar features plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces, Arab gardens, olive mill, a tower, an 18th century palace and a restored mosque.

The International Noble Wines Exhibition features different types of wine displayed by several exhibitors from many different continents across the world. This three day event will feature many different wineries, which attracts over 10,000 professional visitors annually. Vinoble also features a wide range of parallel activities that will keep guest entertained and help them delve into the world of assorted wines. The strong presence of sherry wines is evident,  this is a last call for explorers of the biological aging process.

Vinoble 2022 will feature a group of distinguished wine professionals as well as Masters of Wine to speak and conduct tasting at the event. It is definitely one of the must see event in Jerez that celebrates fortified, sweet and deserted wine.
